Logs with severe flared butts, pistol grip shapes or compound sweep usually don't have even chipping loads as they enter the canter heads, which causes the log to roll and recovery loss.  Our design easily counteracts the unequal torqueing as the log is entering the canter while keeping it firmly impaled on the sharp chain.  Unlike most, our rolls can be precisely adjusted for center and level with an integrated locking arrangement to ensure everything stays aligned.
